Ok.....am I the only person who finds "leg guy" completely SCARY? This P.T. Barnum wannabe should be tortured by a gang of sugared-up 1st graders. What in the world would posess someone to charge money to see a rotting leg AND THEN HAVE THE GALL TO NOT GIVE IT BACK TO THE OWNER?! This knuckle-head actually uses the term "shared custody"!

ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) is an epidemic right now! The CDC recently upgraded the statistics for rates of autism from 1 in 166 birth to 1 in 150(75% are boys)! Autism has many similar traits, but no two cases are the same. There are 3 areas on the spectrum. Severely Autistic, Autistic and Asperger's Syndrome (or High Functioning Autism). We are blessed that our son is on the high functioning end. He can speak, is pretty happy and has "some " issues. His prognosis is great, but he is in the 60% of all autistic cases. 40% of autistic kids NEVER speak!
You probably know someone with autism....if not now, you will soon! All of us parents of autistic kids want to let people know that in the very near future, EVERYONE WILL BE IMPACTED BY THIS CURRENT EPIDEMIC! The vast majority of these kids, teens and adults will need financial support from the State and Federal Government because they CANNOT fend for themselves. We all need to be aware of this looming financial burden that faces this country. I wonder if there is a cure! I wonder if it will take several "influential" people's children to be diagnosed before the "money" starts to flow to find a cure! The media coverage of Anna Nichole Smiths' death is very interesting. I am really wondering several things...
I mean...c'mon people! This is the biggest NON-NEWS STORY I have ever heard of. It us right up there with giving Hollywood couples cutsie nicknames like "TomKat" or "Bangelina". Is our collective psyche as a nation REALLY that shallow? Is this REALLY today's TOP STORY? I certainly hope not! I feel sorry for the "loved ones" of Ms. Smith, but for crying out loud....can the news guys PLEASE cover something else like terrorist sleeper cells, the impending attacks on Iran, etc. Anything would be more suitable (and appropriate) than this story and the vultures trying to improve thier "ratings" off of her death.
